Holiday at the Willihof in Schoppernau
Our farm is situated at 850 m above sea level, in the middle of the famous ski and hiking area Diedamskopf in the Bregenzerwald. No matter what challenge you are looking for – mountain tour, leisurely walk or extensive bike tour – you can do it all directly from our house. One minute and you are in the countryside: an experience guaranteed! The valley basin of Au and Schoppernau is flat. However, it is surrounded on all sides by mountains, some of which are more than 2000 m high. Enjoy the flair of a scenic refuge.
If you prefer to take it easy, our well-kept courtyard is ideal for playing, sitting and lying down, or simply to enjoy nature. Should you prefer fun in the cool water: the heated open-air swimming pool of Schoppernau is just a few minutes’ walk from our house.
Schoppernau makes the heart of summer and winter sports enthusiasts beat faster. Whether hiking and swimming in summer or skiing at our local mountain, in the sunny family ski area Diedamskopf, the Bregenzerwald is always an experience. But also the Lake Constance and the Capital Bregenz are worth a trip in summer and winter.

The house
Our wooden house stands at the foot of a slope with a view to the south. The balcony on two sides and the shingle facade typical for the Bregenzerwald forest give an idea of the sunny comfort inside. All floors are made of wood, you won’t find any fitted carpets with us. Also the bedroom furniture are all made of solid wood and made to measure. For the beds we have selected the best mattresses for you. All rooms have net access with WLAN. Our house is a non-smoking house. Nevertheless the house is equipped with a modern fire alarm system for your protection. And due to a lack of nightly traffic, your sleep will not be disturbed by traffic noise.
Singles, couples and especially families with children are welcome. We are well equipped for all eventualities: Baby cots, high chairs, nappy buckets, bottle warmers. Thanks to its location away from the street, the Hofplatz is a safe adventure playground and the meadows on the hillside make the play fun perfect.

Our stable
In agriculture, we and all of us have dedicated ourselves to the conservation of natural resources such as soil, water and air, especially livestock. Because we owe everything to the animals, we owe them loving treatment. We have ten dairy cows, five calves, two bulls, 20 pigs, one cat and four chickens. You can see and feel that the animals are doing well every step of the way. Because if the animal feels well, the human being also benefits from it.
Our big and small guests can visit the animals at any time in their home and also in the stable every small or big helper is always welcome.
